Each spring the White Clay Wild and Scenic Program in partnership with Delaware State Parks, United Water Suez Environment and the National Park Service hosts the White Clay Creek Fest at Carpenter Recreation Area in the White Clay Creek State Park. In cooperation with the White Clay Wild and Scenic Program, WRA plays an important role in the planning and preparation of this event. The event includes exhibits that offer the public the opportunity to learn about the White Clay and watershed science through interactive models and displays. Nonprofit and government organizations from throughout the watershed come together to exhibit and celebrate the White Clay Creek at this annual event. The event also caters to engaging and teaching children about the White Clay and our natural environment.
