Parts used: Unopened Flower Buds, Stems. Buds used internally as a tea or tincture for fevers and inflammation of the upper respiratory, gastrointestinal, and genituourinary tracts, and to clear heat from the body due to overexposure to sun or heat. Topically used as a wash for minor skin wounds and inflammation. Stems used similarly to buds internally, and for rheumatic pain.
