Medicinal Properties
Parts used: Fresh Herb, Seeds. Fresh herb is internally used as a tea, tincture, or vinegar extract for spastic conditions of the upper respiratory tract like bronchitis, spasmodic asthma, pleurisy, hiccoughs, and whopping cough. Also used for epilepsy and to reduce nicotine cravings. Seed oil used topically as a massage oil for whiplash, muscle spasms, and torticullis. Caution: Overdose can cause nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, dyspnea, and gastric irritation.
